The workshop will underline the communication through fashion and our translation of ideas on paper. Our clothing has an impact on our appearance and the perception others have of us. It is communication and influencing. Already during the medieval times, people were aware about the consequences of their wardrobe. But what do we mean when we talk about the communication through garments? And how can we find new inspiration to transfer our ideas on paper?
The workshop will be introduced by Polimoda. Upon arrival, participants will be welcomed with light refreshments.
Spots are limited to a maximum of 30 participants in each city. After the workshop, a Polimoda representative will be available for one-on-one meetings with those interested in further information or guidance on their future studies.

"Ever since I was young, I was obsessed with the idea of being a Renaissance man, a jack of all trades or a cultivator of crafts. The mere thought of having to sacrifice many facets of culture that I loved so I could settle on one was not only something shocking to me, but it was a construct I actively fought against. When I first arrived in Florence, I felt an almost cathartic breath of reassurance — an inexplicable wholeness of what seemed like destiny or homecoming."
